Despite referring to himself as "a humble student of Wing Chun," Kenneth Chung is one of today's most impressive exponents of the art.  Ken's interpretation of Wing Chun is both highly traditional and rare, with emphasis on sound fundamentals and development of substantial power through relaxed yet highly precise positioning and sensitivity. Saturday class in Rochester will be cancelled in respect of the July 4th holiday weekend.  Classes will resume as usual on Monday, July 8th.

Folks, just an FYI that the Wednesday evening workout sessions in Rochester need to be suspended for the time being.  We'll get word out again whenever they resume.

As members, any and all of you are of course welcome and encouraged to coordinate with our various key holders at your own convenience and use the studio for the same purpose in working out.

Due to the Lilac Festival this coming weekend, we will have to meet in the Rochester studio for Chi Sau Saturday instead of at the park. See you at 1115 East Main St.

In the interest of safety, we will cancel tonight's class due to the impending storm.  Sandy is still on track to head right through  Rochester.  We are due to be in the thick of it by this afternoon and tonight, with high winds potentially reaching tropical storm proportions.  The winds are tangibly picking already with her approach.

My hope is that we'll end up saying "Geesh, we should have had class!"  But better safe than sorry. 

Unless we announce otherwise, please plan to be at Wednesday night's workout with Doug and Michael, and Saturday classes as usual.  Mark will of course need to assess the Buffalo situation independently.
